My work plays with abstract realism and still life to explore themes related to consciousness, identity, and change. I enjoy painting with acrylic ink on humble birch wood panels, and I love to let the wood grain emerge through the medium in surprising ways. â€‹â€‹â€‹

Many of my paintings are staged within the Traditional Territory of the Anishinabek Nation: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomie Nations. I give thanks to the Chippewas of Saugeen, and the Chippewas of Nawash, now known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, as the traditional keepers of this land.
